Allow me to introduce myself...my name is Becky Osterbeck. I have been blessed to be able to combine two of my passions...children and photography! I currently work as a registered nurse in the area of Neonatal Intensive Care. I love being a nurse and helping these little babies get of to a flying start, but I needed a creative component to my life. So...here we are! I founded All Things Beautiful Photography in 2007 as a part time business, and we have been growing ever since!
Here are some images from one of my summer newborn sessions…I am sssoo loving the fact I can do these sessions again! (As having two babies in 18 months kinda puts a crimp on a photography business! Ha!) Watch the blog in the next few days for more summer favs!
WOW! It’s been a looong time since I have been on the ‘ol blog! Time for an update…I will be taking limited newborn sessions again! Yay! I am so excited to start these sessions up again and share lots of new products with my wonderful customers! Right now, I will be scheduling two sessions a month, so let me know ASAP if you are interested in scheduling your session with me so I can reserve your spot. I have already done two sessions this summer and a few more are on the books…watch the blog in coming days for some of my favs from these sessions! I am also hoping to put into place a few days this summer in which I will be doing “mini-sessions”…these will be available for children who are old enough to sit independently. Email me if you are interested and I will give you the scoop about this fun option! Can’t wait to hear from you!

Well, it looks like this will be my last newborn session post for a while. As you may have read, I am taking a bit of a break to spend time with my hubby and son. I am hoping to start up sessions again after a little restructuring of the business…so I can keep my family, myself, and my clients HAPPY with what I do! :) So, keep your eye on my blog for future updates!
Now…here is sweet baby Elise! She was a dream to photograph…and her mommy brought some most excellent props to her session! I love that…it makes for such a fun session! Here are a few of her adorable sneak peeks…
Luke was a perfect little model…and after a little coaxing, he fell fast asleep and was out for the remainder of our newborn session! Can you believe this little guy was almost 9 lbs at birth?! He was so cute and gave us some great images. I must say my favorite is the one with his papa…one of the last images taken for the day, and a very spontaneous pose by daddy, no coaching from me…but I was clickin’ away! :) Enjoy!
It was so fun to watch this little one grow in his mama’s belly…I even got to feel a kick or two from Evan! I just adore all of the newborns I get the privilege of meeting…they is such beauty surrounding them…they are just so perfect, and their mommy and daddy are just so full of love! It is wonderful to be a part of it all! Thank you J and L…you are such a beautiful family! 
I’m not trying to neglect the blog, but I guess cutting back on sessions can do that! ;) I am no longer booking new sessions for 2010, but I do have a few sessions I will be shooting in July and August (including three newborn sessions…stay tuned!) I am hoping to regroup with our busy schedules and open up more sessions beginning in 2011. Thank you so much for your continued support…please continue to watch the blog for the latest news and updates! You remain the best group of friends and clients EVER! :) And, I just can’t close without posting an image…this is the little guy claiming most of my time! I hope you can see by his smile how TOTALLY worth it he is! -Becky
I think Miss Mia is my most photographed client (well, besides my own little one!) Please wander back through my blog to see other sneak peeks from her past sessions. I always look forward to capturing Amelia…she is just darling and such a little model, full of her own expressions and poses! We always have such a wonderfully fun time…here are just a few from her last session, taken down at the Historic Third Ward District. We had such a perfect weather day for shooting…warm and overcast, which makes for a playful Mia and a VERY happy photographer! ;) Enjoy!
Little miss Elena! We just had the third of four sessions included in her “my first year” package. We were able to head outside for this session and I think we got some great images! Even though it was a little on the chilly side, Elena did quite well! You might remember this beautiful couple from their maternity session a few months ago. Well, their sweet little Isabella has made her entrance into the world…and she is just gorgeous!!! We had fun using some of her own personal blankets…I love both the patchwork quilt and the blanket with her name stitched on it! So much fun! Enjoy her sweetness in a few of my fav images!
Have I ever told you that I just adore newborns?! It is probably the main reason I work in the NICU…newborns EVERYWHERE! Every baby is just so beautiful, in my opinion. Fresh from Heaven and full of knowledge of a wonderful place, yet unable to tell us about it. But there is something about a sleeping baby that helps to communicate His glory to us…silently…if one chooses to pay attention.
